Success for Millbrook Garden Centre in Garden Retail Awards

Newspan would like to congratulate Millbrook Garden Centre following the recent Garden Retail Awards, in which the Gravesend store – at which we worked this year - was awarded best Business Development: New Build, Refit or Launch, and was also highly commended in the Planteria category.
In early 2011, Newspan erected a twin span canopy with a curved roof and flame retardent PVC cover. The main frame and foundations are designed to enable easy conversion to an enclosed retail building in the future if required. The structure provides greater cover for shoppers, plants and stock in the new planteria, which is now on the opposite side of the site from where it was previously situated. The planteria was launched to complimentary feedback from guests at a Grand Opening Weekend at the end of March 2011, and we were delighted to recently return to the site and see how Millbrook is utilising the space to deliver their vision of inspiring, educating and equipping their customers.
