New Hilliers Eastbourne centre features striking canopy

As part of our work at Hilliers Eastbourne, Newspan also delivered a striking canopy with an extra steep roof pitch of 35º – reminiscent of a greenhouse design – plus a half-octagonal wide covered walkway between the stunning new retail and covered plant sales area.
For six months of the development – in which 28,000 sq ft of new buildings replaced demolished structures – Hilliers and its two partners on site, Fishey Business and Neptune Spas, continued to trade in adjacent buildings which then became the new centre's new warehouse and goods inward facility. Regular shoppers have now been rewarded with a stunning new garden centre, featuring distinct areas for a welcoming entrance, horticulture, leisure, a coffee shop and concessions for three additional partners, as well extensive sheltered outdoor plant areas and covered walkways to make shopping enjoyable in all weathers.
